Desain Sistem PLTS Hybrid dengan Pemodelan HOMER Pro dan PVSyst di Desa Semang, NTT, Indonesia

Abstract


Desa Semang di Kabupaten Manggarai Barat, Nusa Tenggara Timur, merupakan salah satu wilayah terpencil di Indonesia yang masih menghadapi keterbatasan akses terhadap energi listrik. Kondisi geografis yang menantang dan infrastruktur yang terbatas menyebabkan pasokan energi belum merata, sehingga menghambat pembangunan sosial dan ekonomi masyarakat. Untuk menjawab tantangan tersebut, energi terbarukan seperti tenaga surya menjadi solusi potensial karena ketersediaan radiasi matahari yang tinggi sepanjang tahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengoptimalkan sistem hybrid berbasis energi terbarukan di Desa Semang dengan pendekatan simulasi menggunakan perangkat lunak HOMER Pro dan PVSyst. Sistem yang dirancang terdiri atas panel surya, baterai, dan generator untuk memenuhi kebutuhan energi harian sebesar 216,67 kWh. HOMER Pro digunakan untuk mengevaluasi efisiensi teknis dan ekonomi sistem, sedangkan PVSyst digunakan untuk menganalisis performa teknis sistem fotovoltaik, termasuk Performance Ratio (PR) dengan nilai tahunan sebesar 76,4%. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi HOMER yang ditampilkan pada Tabel 8, konfigurasi sistem PV+Baterai+Genset memberikan hasil paling optimal dengan Net Present Cost (NPC) sebesar 5,13 miliar dan Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) terendah sebesar Rp. 3.991/kWh, serta kebutuhan biaya investasi awal (CAPEX) sebesar 1,83 miliar. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan terintegrasi ini mampu menghasilkan desain sistem energi yang optimal, efisien, dan sesuai dengan kondisi lokal.
