Multi Criteria Decision Making pada Strategi Pengolahan Sampah Padat Perkotaan

Abstract


Penyebab ketidakefektifan sistem pengolahan sampah perkotaan adalah kurangnya pemahaman dan kedisplinan dalam teknik pengolahan yang sesuai dengan jenis timbulan sampah yang dihasilkan setiap harinya dan peningkatan populasi yang berbanding lurus dengan peningkatan aktivitas dan timbulan limbah padat yang dihasilkan. Permasalahan ini sering ditemukan di daerah perkotaan di Indonesia dan salah satunya adalah Kota Batam. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan teknik pengolahan yang paling ideal untuk sampah padat yang dihasilkan penduduk di Kota Batam dengan merumuskan lima skenario teknik pengolahan sampah menggunakan Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM), Preference Ranking Organization Method for Enrichment Evaluations (PROMETHEE), dan Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). Kelompok kriteria yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknologi, lingkungan, ekonomi, dan sosial dengan jumlah total kriteria adalah 28 kriteria. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, skenario pengolahan sampah paling ideal untuk Kota Batam adalah pengolahan dengan cara 50% sanitary landfill dan 50% insenerasi yang diperoleh dari PROMETHEE, 100% sanitary landfill diperoleh dari TOPSIS.
